Works exactly as desired, wide end is great for dogs, fine end works very well on persian cats. The handle is very comfortable. Would recommend this item for grooming cats and dogs. The blades did not cut hair, and were very safe for skin and fingers, but were very good for helping pull out loose extra hair.
