The mini robot is fine! My Cat is very happy with it. The rubber legs are somewhat uneven, but the robot stays fine, hence just 5 stars. My Cat occasionally gives the robot a whipping and they’re still doing just fine. Batteries also last a long time.

We foster special needs cats and kittens, I can always use extra cat toys for playtime! Excellent mental stimulation for cat prey drive and bonus points for exercise while chasing electric toy. Bug can be chased all over the house! Quiet motor. These work best on hard floor surfaces, not carpet.

The toy turned out to be small. I took it for cats. Was afraid they might swallow. I think these are a good alternative! I bought +15 of these and when I turned them all on, they mostly lasted ~10 minutes. The next question would be if it’s easy to replace the battery, which it looks to be! One LR44 battery cell, I had to use a 2mm screwdriver for the small screw but it is possible.
With that, I would still recommend this as a good alternative.
